The system safeguards against OS-specific breaches and allows the use of passcodes to prevent sensitive documents from leaking. Additionally, a Data Overwrite Security System (DOSS) is implemented to overwrite after each print, copy, scan or fax job.

This intelligent printer uses a new "low-melt toner" that operates at a lower fusing temperature, reducing power consumption and carbon emissions.Additionally, the IM C6010 mainframe is made using 50% post-consumer recycled plastic while PET toner bottles are produced from 100% recycled plastic. Plastic packaging is reduced by 54% thanks to a more sustainable material and no excess packaging.
