BLI Awards are given twice a year to acknowledge the office equipment and products that scored highest in extensive lab tests over the previous six months. The Ricoh IM 2500 Series was declared the winning device for Outstanding 25-ppm A3 MFP.
Pete Emory, Director of Research & Lab Services, Keypoint Intelligence, says: “This batch of BLI A3 Pick Award winners earned the accolades by delivering consistently impressive performances throughout testing. From strong or flawless reliability to the type of usability that any user would appreciate, these eight devices will meet or exceed the needs of their target market. Each device in Ricoh’s IM 2500 Series features:
- Always Current Technology to provide users with access to the latest apps, features, and upgrades;
- Smart Integration Platform for cloud-based apps and document workflow integration across multiple devices;
- Intuitive Smart Operation Panel to make devices quick and easy, while ensuring workflows are more intuitive: and
- Smart Device Connector so all print, copy, scan, and fax functions can be controlled safely from Android and iOS devices.
Jacques van Wyk, CEO of Ricoh South Africa, says: “Always Current Technology lets customers download updates and upgrades on-demand. That makes these devices customisable and also scalable, which are important criteria for companies that are empowering digital workplaces and digitalising processes. It helps to keep security locked down, ensuring customers meet regulatory requirements and protect their data. And it extends the useful lifespan of the devices within the business by helping to meet current and future requirements.”
Harald List, Director EMEA Product Management, EMEA Marketing at Ricoh Europe, says: “As we guide and support customers on their respective digital transformation journeys, calls for productive, secure, accessible, and easy-to-use technology is understandably unwavering. The Ricoh IM 2500 Series is an example of how we meet ever-evolving business needs, along with the constant demand for sustainable and reliable devices.
