Ricoh South Africa announces double digit percentage growth

Johannesburg, 29 January 2010—Despite the downturn, Ricoh South Africa, a technology leader in the office and production printing markets, announced a 12% year-on-year growth over 2009.

Alan Austin, General Manager Sales and Marketing at Ricoh South Africa attribute the growth to Ricoh’s forward-thinking growth strategy. "Over the course of the year we continued to work closely with our partners to provide the best possible deals and cost-saving solutions for our customers within a leaner economic environment," he says.

2009 saw the launch of Ricoh’s first-class production printer in South Africa, the Pro C900. The fastest powerhouse in its class on the market, the Pro C900 has a uniquely integrated approach to graphic-intensive colour production.

"Digital colour printing is leading the way in the colour production market because of its efficiency and short turn-around time and we intend to keep innovating in this space."

The company, formerly known as Gestener South Africa, is confident that it will see another positive year in 2010.

Our Consulting division has been expanding its offerings across the country with the launch of several new initiatives all aimed at optimising document efficiency in the workplace," ends Austin.
