Gestetner South Africa to Become Ricoh South Africa
Johannesburg, 14 July 2009 - Office automation and document solutions company NRG Gestetner South Africa (Pty) Ltd today announced its name change to Ricoh South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
The name change forms part of the Ricoh Group's plan to rebrand direct operations across all subsidiaries. “Three years ago, the Ricoh Group had the vision to transform Ricoh Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) group from a decentralised business model into a world-class pan-European organisation,” explained Richard Pinker, Managing Director of Gestetner South Africa. “Gestetner South Africa's name change to Ricoh South Africa is part of that vision,” he said.
Pinker affirmed that the name change demonstrates Ricoh's commitment to the South African market. “It is a part of their overall brand strategy outlined in the three-year marketing plan, to raise awareness of the brand. This international network will continue to allow us access to best practices, research and development. As Ricoh South Africa, we are proud to be able to contribute directly to the European activation of our global brand statement 'Moving Ideas Forward.” added Pinker.
